Ann LaRose Seavers, 70, of Rhinelander, died on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at her home. She was born on June 1, 1942, in Portsmith, N.H., to Richard and Rose (Duffy) Parnham.

Ann was born and raised in New Hampshire. She moved to Rhinelander in 1996, where she resided with her husband, David. She loved to crochet, was a great cook and enjoyed camping and her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her husband, David Seavers of Rhinelander; her father, Richard Parnham; three sons, Christopher Martin, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Martin, and Sean (Astrid) LaRose; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie; a sister, Jean (Dennis) Ridley; two brothers, Jack (Eileen) Parnham and Gary Parnham; and her step children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose.

Per Ann’s request, cremation will take place, and she will be returned to the shores off the Isle of Shoals in New Hampshire.
