Play Shoppe and Music Garden to begin fall programming
Play Shoppe and Music Garden, both coordinated by the Family Resource Connection, will kick off their fall schedules this week.
Play Shoppe is an opportunity for children to learn valuable developmental and social interaction skills, and a time for parents to nurture that special bond by engaging in these activities with their children. Come experience new sensory and creative activities-crafts, circle time, and free play-that are based on Wisconsin Early Learning standards and designed to teach and be fun! The activities are created for children 1 to 5 years of age, but all are welcome.
Music Garden is a special music and movement program created to stimulate your child’s development, while celebrating and nurturing the remarkable bond you share. We offer two different, age appropriate, sessions with an assortment of activities designed to awaken your child’s imagination, while promoting language and cognitive development, coordination skills and social interaction.
Play Shoppe in Rhinelander will take place on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Nicolet Child Care Center Building, and in Eagle River on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at United Church of Christ.
Music Garden in Rhinelander will take place on Tuesday mornings at the Riverside Clinic, with Sprouts (infants) from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and Jumping Beans (18 months and older) from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. The program will be held in Minocqua on Thursday mornings at the Minocqua Library, with Sprouts from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and Jumping Beans from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
All programs follow the school calendar of the community they are in. Programs begin after Labor day and end the last week of May.
