Donation brings brand new spin bikes to the YMCA

With a generous donation from a community member, the YMCA of the Northwoods Wellness Center upgraded its Wellness Studio with 14 brand new Keiser M3+ spin bikes. With the addition of the new Keiser spin bikes, the Wellness studio has been completely revamped over the past year.

“The studio currently features the 14ft TRX Multimount system, kettle bells, medicine, physio and bosu balls,” said Wellness Director Chris Cook. “Add the new bikes and you can walk into the studio, and walk out after a total body workout totally transformed!”

The spin bikes arrive to the Y just in time for the Fall Session, which begins on Monday, Sept. 10. Spinning classes are offered at 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday. All spin classes will be offered free to members looking to try the new bikes for the Fall 1 Session, and all members are encouraged to give the new bikes a try as they are available to use anytime.

Serving the Northwoods for more than 10 years, the YMCA of the Northwoods has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change.
