This Saturday and Sunday is the 31st Hodag Musky Challenge, and the Rhinelander Area chamber of Commerce is in need of volunteers to pull off another successful tournament! Due to some last minutes circumstances the chamber searching for a couple of volunteers to help with registering fish. They need help from these times:

– Saturday, Sept. 8, from noon to 5 p.m.
– Sunday, Sept. 9, from 6:15 a.m. to noon

Registering the fish is simple, plus the chamber give detailed instructions on what to do. While it would help to have volunteers cover a full shift, they will take volunteers in whatever time increments they can offer.

“We know we couldn’t pull off a successful event without great volunteers and we truly appreciate the time and effort you all put in over the year for the Chamber,” said Chamber Director Lara Reed. “If you have this weekend free give us a call at the Chamber today at (715) 365-7464.”

All volunteers are invited to a meeting this evening (Wednesday, Sept. 5) for an overview of duties and free food. If you can’t make it, the chamber can set up another time to go over the volunteer duties. In addition, volunteers are all invited to join the chamber on Sunday for a free meal and awards ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.

“We promise you a fun weekend with some big fish excitement if you can help out!” said Reed.
