The Town Board of the Town of Cassian, Oneida County, Wisconsin, hereby provides its written notice and an agenda of the public meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cassian for September 4, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Cassian Town Hall.

Location posted: Town Hall, Northwoods Store, and Harshaw Post Office and Rhinelander River News. Members of a subunit of the Town of Cassian may attend the town board meeting to gather information regarding subjects, for which these subunits may have decision-making responsibilities. No discussion or action will be taken by the subunit or its members at the Town Board Meeting if it may have decision-making responsibilities.

August 14, 2012 (not yet approved by the Board)
Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Larry Hendrickson, Present Larry, Gail and Mary.
Review/Discuss/Approve Crack Sealing Bid – Only 1 bid was rec’d for Crack Sealing from Pitlik and Wick in the amount of $13,977.60. Motion by Gail, 2nd by Gene to approve bid in amount of $13,977.60. Motion Carried.
Motion by Gail, 2nd by Gene to approve a bid for $2565.00 from Pitlik and Wick for the snowmobile cross at Church Road plus an additional crossing at no charge. Motion Carried.
Review/Discuss/Approve Security System for the Town Hall/Fire Barn. Motion by Gail, 2nd by Gene to approve purchasing a security system. Cost to be $2167.80 if a battery is not needed or $2247.75 if battery is needed. Funds to be paid out of Capital Outlay. Motion Carried.
Motion to Adjourn by Gail, 2nd by Gene. Motion Carried.

REGULAR MEETING OF THE NEWBOLD PLAN COMMISSION

The Town of Newbold Plan Commission will hold the regular monthly meeting on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, beginning at 4:30P.M. at the Newbold Town Hall.
The Agenda for this meeting is as follows:
(1) Call meeting to order
(2 Verification of publication
(3) Review and approve minutes of August 2, 2012
(4 Discussion/Information Chapter 8 – Town Road Ordinance.
(5) Discussion/Information Chapter 13 – Town Land Division Ordinance
Administrative matters for review and discussion by commission members concerning general plan commission, town board, county board and county planning and zoning dept. activities, project updates and the following.
A. Chairpersons report
B. Correspondence
C. Next Meeting Date – Future Meeting Agenda Items
D. Public comment and communication period per Wisconsin Statutes, whereby the Plan Commission may receive any matter raised by the public.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newbold Town Hall on Highway 47, North, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, 54501, Oneida County.
The Town of Newbold Town Board will be in attendance to take public comment in consideration of amending Town Ordinance Chapter 13, Land Division and Platting.
