Leadership Oneida County still looking for applicants
Do you have a desire to improve your community, make a difference, or become a more active member of your community? Then Leadership Oneida County is for you!
This 9-month program takes a deeper look at the entire community of Oneida County. We’ll look at the businesses based here, the community services available, the non-profits and community groups that do work here and we’ll help you learn how you can become a more active member of Oneida County.
The program involves one day out of the month for our program days, which vary from industry, to medical, to education and everything in between. On those days not only will you learn about that sector of our local economy but also how leadership skills are put to use within those sectors.
In addition, each participant will work on a community project that will help benefit a non-profit or community group within Oneida County. Over the last few years participants have worked with Oneida County UW-Extension, Oneida County Humane Society, Frederick Place the Chamber and many more.
Leadership Oneida County is open to anyone who lives or works within Oneida County. The goal of the program is to help cultivate and educate leaders within our community.
We’d love for you to get involved, or pass this information along to an employee at your business who might enjoy the program. Help us to foster a strong sense of leadership within Oneida County. Click here for an application.
