Do you want to get your space cleaned up and help homeless pets, too? Opportunity knocks!

Kim’s Cozy Cabin in Hazelhurst will host a rummage sale Aug. 18-19 for the benefit of the Oneida County Humane Society (OCHS). Donations of new or gently used merchandise will be accepted Aug. 1-12. The Humane Society requests that only merchandise in good to excellent condition be donated, and please no appliances, mattresses, or electronics, unless new and unused.

Kim Opsal, owner of Kim’s Cozy Cabin, said, “It’s all about the animals. The Humane Society needs our help to keep the animals that come to the Adoption Center happy and healthy while they wait for their new homes. I’m proud to sponsor this event for OCHS.”

“We are so pleased that Kim has offered to host this event for us,” said Anna Kazda of the Humane Society. “She has a great location here, right on busy Hwy. 51, with lots of parking for customers. We know we’re going to have a lot of fun and be very busy!”

Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours at Kim’s Cozy Cabin, 7247 Hwy. 51, Hazelhurst on Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
