Obituary: Bonita “Bonnie” J. Joling
Bonita “Bonnie” J. Joling, 85, of Rhinelander was called home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2012. She was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Town of Holland, Sheboygan County, to Herbert and Emmeline (Nyhof) Neerhof.
Bonnie married Bert, the love of her life, on Aug. 23, 1946. They lived in Sheboygan until 1962. After moving to Rhinelander they became actively involved in Calvary Baptist Church and Headwaters Christian Youth. She worked at Hildebrand Furniture from 1971 to 1985. Her passions were family, serving the Lord, cooking, and music.
Bonnie is survived include her husband Bert; their daughter, Sharon Wieduwilt (Paul) of Kansas City, Mo.; sons David Joling of Eau Claire and Daniel Joling (Susan) of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren Jamie Wieduwilt (Venus), Christy Henry (Shannon), Jeremy Wieduwilt (Kim), Alena Joling, Henry Joling, and Sam Joling; and great grandchildren Emily, Austin and Ashley Henry, Kassidy Wieduwilt, and Jason Wieduwilt. She was preceded by her parents and her sister Frances Seliga.
The family is grateful for the loving care she received at Friendly Village and Country Terrace.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 26, at 11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. James Mickelson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, July 25, at the Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home, from 4 to 6 p.m., and on Thursday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon, July 27, at the Hingham Cemetery in Hingham, Wis. Memorial gifts may be designated for Calvary Baptist Church or Headwaters Christian Youth.
