Adirondack chair raffle to benefit hospice

Buy a raffle ticket from Dr. Kate Hospice, and you may win a hand-painted Adirondack chair that will brighten up anyone’s patio. All proceeds benefit hospice patients and their families in the Northwoods.

While Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies provide some funding for hospice care, many who Ministry cares for are under-insured or uninsured. As part of Ministry, Dr. Kate Hospice will not turn them away. The hospice team provides end-of-life care to anyone who is medically eligible, regardless of their ability to pay – donations and fundraisers help them meet this commitment.

Tickets are $5 each, or three for $10. Tickets may be purchased at the Dr. Kate Hospice office, 1571 Hwy 51 N., Suite C in Arbor Vitae, or call (800) 234-3542 for other locations. The drawing will be held Aug. 20, at noon, at the Dr. Kate Hospice office. You need not be present to win.
