Each week we answer questions our readers have asked. What do you really want to know? Drop us a line; maybe we can help.

“Are there any plans in the works for a permanent informational sign announcing upcoming events at the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce? Most of the time you can’t read the full banners to understand what they mean.”

– Carol, Rhinelander

The Star Journal asked Lara Reed, Executive Director of Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce. Reed responded:

“Yes, we would love to put a permanent sign at the Chamber for our events.

“However, in order to purchase one of these it costs thousands of dollars, and it will take a few years of setting aside funds to be able to do something like this. It has been talked about.

“Ultimately it would be a great thing to have. If there are any donors out there for a project like this, we’d love to hear from them!”

Editor’s note: Send in your questions to [email protected], or mail them to the Star Journal, 24 W. Rives St., P.O.?Box 558 Rhinelander, WI?54501.
