Storm clouds over Boom Lake in Rhinelander, July 6

A “pop-up” type thunderstorm rolled through Rhinelander Friday afternoon, July 6, bringing with it dark, swirling clouds that were very visible over Boom Lake in Rhinelander, alarming many in the area of potential tornado activity. All photos courtesy Bob Mainhardt
