The law firm of O’Melia, Schiek & McEldowney, S.C., is pleased to welcome its new associate, Amy Ferguson. Amy recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, Amy served as an intern for Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She also interned at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and was a participant in the Wisconsin Innocence Project.

Amy is a Rhinelander native and was part of the Rhinelander High School Mock Trial team that placed second at nationals. Amy’s practice will include criminal and traffic defense, family law and civil litigation.

O’Melia, Schiek & McEldowney employs seven attorneys who practice various types of law, including family law/divorce, personal injury, real estate, insurance defense, criminal and traffic law, estate planning, worker’s compensation, and social security disability. The O’Melia firm was founded in 1911 and has proudly served the Northwoods community for over a century.
