The Oneida County Deputy Sheriff’s Association has announced their endorsement of Lisa Theo of Tomahawk for Wisconsin’s 12th State Senate District.

“This is because of Lisa’s core middle-class values and belief that she will bring respect and balance to state government for middle-class citizens,” said Nate Ouimette, President of the Oneida County Deputy Sheriff’s Association, PAC. “Theo is committed to fostering the high standards of law enforcement and public safety because the safety and security of the citizens is paramount to her mission as a Wisconsin senator.”

The Deputy Sheriff’s Association is also pleased with Theo’s reasonable and balanced approach to gun ownership.

“We don’t need additional gun laws; we only need to enforce the ones that are already on the books,” said Theo.

The Oneida County Deputy Sheriff’s Association also acknowledges Theo’s understanding and respect of the role hunting plays in the culture and heritage of Wisconsin families. Theo comes from a family with a tradition of hunting, which includes her father who still hunts and enjoys the pleasure of eating wild game and a day in the woods even at 80 years of age. Theo understands that hunting isn’t just part of our tradition and culture, it is a major food source and an economic necessity for many families.
