Volunteers are needed to help welcome GRABAAWR riders to the Rhinelander area.

The Great Annual Bicycle Adventure Along the Wisconsin River (GRABAAWR) is heading to Rhinelander, and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for some help to welcome these riders to the Rhinelander area. The group will be arriving in Rhinelander and staying the night on Sunday, June 17, at Rhinelander High School. The Chamber needs help to staff an information booth and answer questions for riders about places to shop, eat and visit while in town.

Specifically, the chamber needs four volunteers on Sunday, June 17, from either 1 to 3 p.m. or 3 to 5 p.m. at Rhinelander High School.

The job is easy–be a tour guide for a group of interested visitors to our area. The questions will be simple things like directions around town, recommendations for food, where to find good souvenirs, those types of things.

For more information, or to volunteer, call (715) 365-7464.
