Letter: Now’s the time to get rid of union busters by Greg Pence
Editor:
The chance is now to get rid of the union busters. They came after public unions, and private unions are next.
Unions aren’t as strong as they used to be. Younger workers don’t want to get involved. Most workers nowadays want the benefits that their unions bargained for, but they want someone else to do the work for them.
If Walker wins, there will be nobody to fight for the working middle class or poor. Right To Work states will take over if Walker’s regime wins. Don’t let that happen, or we will lose all unions.
People died for the working conditions and benefits that the unions fought for years ago. Don’t let them take that away from us.
You see what they do to some non-union places nowadays–walk in, and after working for years and doing a good job, you make too much money, so they lay you off and bring in lower paid workers. Don’t let Walker win and the rich win. Stop them now.
Tom Barrett wouldn’t still be Mayor of Milwaukee if he has done such a bad job down there. He will bring our state back where it belongs, and Mahlon Mitchell will help him do it. The recall is our only choice. Get rid of them now while we can.
