Letter: Governor lying about job creation by Dick and Gail Gumness
Editor:
Under the governor’s failed leadership, Wisconsin lost more jobs than any other state in the Union in 2011. That, folks, is the honest to God truth. Period.
This past April we lost 6,000 private sector jobs: TRUTH.
Breaking news: today Wisconsin is the worst state in the nation for job loss over this past year (April-April) down 21,400. Rhode Island was second with 4,300 lost.
We distinctly remember his promise, during the campaign, to create 250,000 jobs. Can we go so far to say that that has turned in to be a flat out lie? However, he sure is keeping the promise to his cronies and the “Ms. Hendricks” in this country: “Yea, we’re going to divide and conquer.”
Meanwhile we are bleeding out jobs from day to day, and he is continuing the “liar’s” role by rolling out new numbers this week which cannot be verified by the federal government until three weeks after the election. Hmmmm
He keeps saying, “Trust me.” Is he kidding? He is desperate to change the subject but he cannot change the numbers. No amount of spin can change the fact he is failing on jobs, and is lying as he spins.
Walker claims that a 33,000 job loss is now a 24,000 job gain…an incredible swing of 57,000 jobs in his favor, three weeks before the election. Fact is, revisions like that have never been on a scale of 57,000 jobs before. Amazing Gov. Walker…How’d you do that? Better yet, how do face yourself in the mirror every morning?
These are the facts. We are in the habit of telling it like it REALLY is. It is time for this man to resign before he gets arrested or loses the June 5 election…
So who do you intend to trust and vote for in the upcoming election to be the Governor of Wisconsin?
