Updated Wed., 5/16 – There’s lots of ways to enjoy the lakes of northern Wisconsin, but perhaps the most exciting is being pulled behind a fast boat while skiing, boarding or tubing. Stengl Marine in Minocqua specializes in this sport and offers their customers plenty of choices when it comes to fast boats with all the equipment needed to enjoy the lakes no matter what the activity. Bill Stengl and his family have operated this business since 1978, and they are all very familiar with motor boat sports. In fact, they have been specializing in skiing and wake boarding equipment since 1988.
“My entire family has always enjoyed spending time on the water skiing,” said Bill. “We’ve been avid skiers and boarders for many years so we really know the ins and outs of it.”
Stengl Marine offers a number of unique products and services to their customers. They are dealers for MasterCraft, Moomba and Supra wake boats in addition to Pier Pleasure dock systems. There are many new models of boats to choose from at Stengl Marine, including pre-owned boats that are serviced and ready to go. While lounging or touring the lakes in these vessels is a pleasure in itself, they have been specifically made to withstand and provide all the speed needed for hours of water skiing, wake boarding and tubing pleasure. A parts department is also available at Stengl Marine, as well as certified and factory trained service technicians who are experts in inboard motor repair.
Pier Pleasure docking systems are also available at Stengl Marine. Once again trained technicians can recommend just the right system that can include winches for boat removal out of the water and tops that provide protection from the elements. Installation is available and there are many shapes and configurations that can accommodate any lake shore situation.
In addition to boats and docks, Stengl Marine also carries a large line of boating equipment. A remodeling project has just been completed at this professional and welcoming store allowing for more space to accommodate these products. Boat maintenance solutions are available such as washes, and polishes. Ski vests, ropes, and other equipment is offered as well as colorful surf boards, CWB wake boards and inflatable tubes ready for a day of fun in the sun.
To keep this equipment in tip top shape, Stengl Marine also offers complete boat detailing including full service storage, pick-up in the fall months and delivery in the spring when the weather warms. Even dockside service is available. And if a customer is looking for a specific boat or equipment and Stengl Marine doesn’t have it in stock, they will gladly order it. “This business has been built on customer service and repeat business,” said Bill. “And we continue that commitment today.”
Stengl Marine is located at 8019 Hwy. 51 South in Minocqua. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sat. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
