Ministry Medical Group has announced that Tammery Perry, RN, MSN, FNP has joined the Crandon clinic located at 400 West Glen Street. Perry specializes in providing medical care for all ages, including an emphasis on cancer screening, early detection and prevention.

Perry is very familiar with the Northwoods. “I grew up in Crandon,” she said proudly. “I know the area very well, and can relate to the people in the surrounding communities.”

Prior to joining MMG, she provided care at the James Beck Cancer Center in Rhinelander. She also garnered experience at Memorial Health Center-Prentice Clinic, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, Rhinelander Dialysis, Family Planning Health Services in Tomahawk and Arizconsin Group Health Care Professionals in Crandon.

Perry completed her Master of Science degree in nursing at UW-Oshkosh. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at UW-Green Bay. She is a certified Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.

She believes prevention wellness visits can aid in early detection of diseases. “I have witnessed the effects of uncontrolled disease in kidney failure and the prognosis in cancer after it metastasizes,” Perry said. “I believe in prevention and early detection with aggressive management to combat these.”
