Ministry Health Care psychiatrist recertified

Ministry Health Care and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., (ABPN) congratulate Dr. Herb White, who successfully passed the recertification examination in Psychiatry last month.

In becoming Board Certified, Dr. White completed rigorous training and achieved the gold standard in each of the six core competencies of patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, system-based practice and practice-based learning and improvement to practice quality specialized medicine in Psychiatry. By recertifying, Dr. White has demonstrated a current and continued high level of professional expertise in the field.

Dr. White is the Medical Director, and provides psychiatry services at Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital Psychiatric Unit in Rhinelander. He joins five board-certified psychiatrists in the Department of Psychiatry who offer services in Ministry Health Care’s northern region. Ministry Behavioral Health also includes psychologists, substance abuse counselors, therapists and nurse practitioners who provide complete diagnostic evaluations and expert treatment for individuals, groups, couples and families.
