An important election will be held on April 3, for Judge of Branch II of the Oneida County Circuit Court. I am sure that most of you are aware that the election is between John O’Melia and Michael Bloom from the many campaign ads and signs posted throughout the county. While either of these attorneys would make a fine judge, I am writing this letter to endorse John O’Melia for judge.

I have practiced law for 37 years, and I have had the pleasure of working with and against John O’Melia many times. John is a dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable and honest lawyer. He is a good person and an excellent lawyer. His professionalism, his diverse experience in civil and criminal law and his personal character makes him an excellent choice to serve as the Oneida County Circuit Court Judge for Branch II.

I urge you to exercise your right to vote on April 3, and vote for John O’Melia.

John C. Houlihan, Minocqua
