John O’Melia and I go back a long way, as we have been friends since 6th grade. We have hunted, fished, canoed, camped, and even double dated together. You get to know a guy pretty well after all that.

He has the spirit of fun and adventure; he enjoys life and has a strong work ethic that he has displayed over the years. I have watched John pour out his life into his family, in raising three wonderful children and being an example before them with his involvement in their lives and in the community. He has coached, refereed many a basketball game and worked with the Rotary Club.

I’m proud to call John my friend and I have full confidence that John O’Melia will make an excellent judge for Oneida County.
