Anna M. Gee

Anna M. Gee, 85, of Rhinelander, died March 10, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Crandon, the daughter of William and Bertha O’Marro.

Loving wife to Robert C. Gee for 66 years, married on April 7, 1945. After retiring from employment at World Wide Liquors in Illinois, Anna and Robert returned to the northwoods. Anna continued working, and worked at Wal-Mart and Shopko in Rhinelander.

Anna is survived by her husband, Robert and their four children: son, Robert A Gee, daughters; Terry Wingren, Edna Matschke, and Peggy (JR) Saunders, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents; William and Bertha, two grandsons; Shannon and Billy, and her brothers; Jim, Bud, Pat and Roy O’Marro.

Anna was a wonderful and loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who loved to cook for her family. She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home.
