Lake survey needs your input By Leonard Gescheidle
Editor:
The Moen Lake Chain Association (MLCA) has asked their members and those on their mailing list to take part in a survey. The survey pertains to changes to the lakes that they have noticed over the years. it goes on to ask what changes individuals would like to see in the future.
From this information, the MLCA will determine what changes to the lakes are important to their members. They will then do what they can to implement the changes that their members desire. A pontoon cruise, tubing, jet skiing, rafts, fishing, water skiing, sailing, canoeing, public access, kayaking, wake boarding, etc., are some of the many ways the lakes are being enjoyed.
State laws are in place so that all of us can enjoy our activity of choice in a safe manner. If enforcement of those laws is the issue, then why not encourage more enforcement?
Are you content with the Moen Lake Chain as it is, or would you like to see some restrictions or changes implemented? Beware, some changes may affect how you would be allowed to enjoy the lakes in the future.
Please go to Moenlakechain.org and take part in their survey. Do not let a small group pursue changes on the Moen Lake Chain that can affect all of us.
