Young to blog on StarJournalNOW.com
Rhinelander City Council President Alex Young is the latest blogger at StarJournalNOW.com, the official website of the Star Journal and Hodag Buyers’ Guide.
Young’s blog, “Inside Council Chambers”, will focus on the business of Rhinelander’s city government. Young is an 8 year veteran of the city council, and currently serves as Council President.
“We’re excited to have Alex on board,” said Star Journal Editor Craig Mandli. “While we often report on city government, never have we had the opportunity to hear it directly from the source. I think readers will find that there is a lot more that goes into decisions at City Hall than they realize.”
While Young annouced this week that he intends to run for the 34th District Assembly seat, he intends to only use his blog to discuss city-related business.
“There’s always plenty to talk about at City Hall, so I’m not worried about running out of topics,” said Young. “I’m looking forward to giving readers a taste of working in small town government.”
