YMCA offers personal training

One of the most common New Year’s resolutions is for this to be the year when you make becoming healthier and fitter a priority. The YMCA of the Northwoods would like to make this year’s resolution a reality with the help of their certified personal trainers.

Whether the goal is to shed a few extra pounds, get your 5 km or 10 km time down, establish a new routine, or be able to keep up with your kids, our personal trainers can develop an individualized plan for everyone to reach their goals.

The YMCA has a variety of packages available to help reach fitness goals. Members receive a discount on these services, but anyone can hire a YMCA personal trainer and use the facility during the training sessions.

Personal training packages cost $35-40 an hour depending on the number of sessions. Certified personal trainers have expertise in strength and cardio training, as well as many other fitness tools, helping participants slim down, tone up and improve their overall fitness.

For more information, visit ymcaofthenorthwoods.org, or call (715) 362 9622, ext. 113, and speak with Wellness Director Chris Cook.
