Leisure City is aptly named. Owned and operated by Doreen and Chuck McGonagle, this family-run business has been the place to go for hot tubs and saunas in the Northwoods for 27 years. But that’s not all. At Leisure City, visitors will also find a large selection of fun products that are sure to turn any living space into a welcoming and cozy refuge.

A walk through their spacious showroom floor, located in Woodruff, reveals a virtual hot tub paradise with several bubbling away so customers can see for themselves just how inviting these spas really are. They come in a variety of sizes and colors, from two man tubs to units that can seat up to eight people comfortably. They even have a swim spa model that is not only for relaxing, but also provides a current where users can swim, building muscle and endurance for many healthy benefits.

Helo saunas are also offered here, and there are a couple of models to choose from. Take for instance the infra-red version. “These are wonderful for people who suffer from bone and joint pain,” said Doreen. “The heat penetrates into the tissues and provides great muscle and joint therapy.” There is also the traditional model which provides a steam heat that is perfect for body detoxification.

Chuck and his team are very knowledgeable when it comes to setting up these units, and the McGonagles provide their customers with thorough and continuous customer support. That includes a large supply of hot tub products, such as filters and cleaning products, for keeping hot tub water in perfect condition.

Leisure City is also home to a large selection of outdoor grills and products. While there are six to seven different brands and models to choose from, perhaps one of the most unique grills here is the Kamado Joe model, which is made from ceramic and looks like a giant egg. There are also models that use pellets, infra-red lamps and lump charcoal. Grilling accessories and a large variety of grilling accompaniments are also available, such as lump charcoal, pellets, flavored pellets, replacement grill parts and accesories and a comprehensive selection of sauces and rubs to use in meat and vegetables dishes.

Another unique feature at Leisure City is their model sunscreen porch. These have a lifetime warranty, and when added on to a structure provide use in all but the coldest months. The one on the showroom floor is comfortable and cozy, and would make a great addition to any home. And Chuck and his crew know exactly how to construct these welcome add-ons, and provide free estimates before any project.

Other products offered at Leisure City include a large selection of hammocks constructed of quilted fabrics and rope, in a variety of colors, to provide years of fun and relaxation. Comfortable outdoor furniture made from “green” recycled material is also on the showroom floor. “We guarantee this furniture for life,” said Doreen. “It’s almost indestructible, and can withstand weather no matter what the season.”

The McGonagles are big believers in “Made in America” products, and almost all the merchandise they provide their customers is made in this country.
