Minocqua Club hosts successful Pro Am

With a 26 year history, the Dr. Kate Hospice Pro Am Golf Tournament has created memories of good times and good golf, as well as substantial financial support for hospice patients and their families. The staff and volunteers of Ministry Home Care/Dr. Kate Hospice and Seasons of Life feel it is a privilege to provide this service. The fact that so many are repeatedly generous in their support is confirmation that providing hospice care is important work.

Dr. Kate Hospice and Minocqua Country Club look forward to welcoming golf pros from throughout the state each year. The event’s affiliation with the PGA-Wisconsin Section has established this tournament as a highlight event for Wisconsin pros.

With 26 teams of five (one pro and four amateurs per team) and more than 30 sponsors-led by Trig’s as corporate sponsor-this year’s event was again a great success. The outing, held on Aug. 8 at the Minocqua Country Club, raised almost $32,000 in support of hospice services.

“Our thanks to Minocqua Country Club, our sponsors, donors, and volunteers for making this event happen,” said organizer Randi Danner, volunteer/community outreach coordinator of Dr. Kate Hospice.
